A Srinagar travel house, run by people who grew up in the valley.
Kashmir Holidays began as a family business on the Boulevard, arranging houseboats and taxis for guests who wrote to us by post. Today we plan complete holidays — group departures, private trips and itineraries built around your dates — but the way we work has not changed: we live here, we know the drivers, the houseboat owners and the hoteliers by name, and we answer for every day of your trip ourselves. No call centres, no outsourced operators. The person who plans your holiday is the person you can call while you are on it.

Is Kashmir safe to visit?
Tourist areas — Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg — host thousands of visitors year round. We watch conditions daily and adjust routes if ever needed; your planner is honest with you about what is sensible when.
When is the best time to come?
April to June for gardens and meadows, July to September for clear mountain days, December to February for snow and skiing in Gulmarg. Autumn's chinar colours in October are a quiet favourite.
Can you plan around our own dates?
Yes — that is what our custom tours are. Tell us your dates and party, and the itinerary is priced for exactly who is travelling.
How do payments work?
A part-payment confirms the booking and the balance follows the schedule we agree — always in writing, always with a receipt.
